Contribuiți la feedbackMany choices, beautiful outdoor terraces, great service and large portions, so plan to share. I tried the local river fresh with fresh vegetables and potatoes. Very good. Friends had Risotto, Empanada and Salate.
We have been a free welcome to Caipirinha in Jasy Restaurant, according to a recommendation from our hostel and a flyer advertisement, for all guests of our hostel who visited there. The waitress was friendly and welcoming when we arrived and showed the flyer before she fortunately led us out to a romantic and cozy little table on two at the edge of the restaurant balcony, overlooking the forest below. The menu was a pretty nice sound selection and for such a formal and beautiful looking restaurant surprisingly affordable. A steak was around seven euros, with a bottle of house wine in about four. We did not have too many problems in choosing; as it was our first night in Argentina, we chose a Ribeye Steak with an Angus Steak for my girlfriend. The waitress looked a little confused when we asked about the steaks red in the middle, because their English was not excellent, but we were optimistic that she had made us untenable. Since it was so affordable, we also decided to launch the local fish emanadas. The Caipirinhas arrived pretty smooth and were very good, but the bottle of red was absolutely delicious. The empanadas arrived in good time and were really good, but not exceptionally better than a really good street vendor. However, the price was not much higher than the average street vendor in Argentina. We ate them quickly and waited patiently for the steaks. When they were brought, they looked impressive from the outside: served with a generous part of Fritten as an accompaniment, and a really delicious homemade sauce of any kind that was somewhat too watery for my taste, but gave the meeting a good strong seasoned taste when it was crushed over it. Unfortunately, when cutting into the steaks, we discovered that both were overdue. But if we look back at the waitress, this was probably a mistake in translation when we tried to explain to her how we wanted the steaks. It was a shame, but not the meal too much, as the steaks were both otherwise delicious: well marinaded and seasoned, and overall a pleasant meal. After the meal, the restaurant-balcon was a great place to finish our delicious wine bottle in a romantic environment without being disturbed by the staff or any other, as the rest of the restaurant began around us. We'd both return happy.
Tamara was waitress in the evening we visited her excellent, very well advised about the choice of steak for our taste. Very friendly ambience and staff. Would advise a visit while your in Iguzue, you will not be disappointed.
To be fair, we arrived at about 11:00 after flying to this area of El Calafate over Buenos Aires, so were quite tired but hungry. We were told by people in other areas of Argentina that the locals tend to eat too late, so surprised were to find the place almost empty. Service was ok, but a bit on the slow side, we ordered lasagna, canaloni and vegetarian pizza, all food was average for taste and Qulaity, but the pizza had meat in it and the side salad was just a bunch of salad. This was our worst meal during our stay in Argentina.
This lovely restaurant offers very good argentinian food at very good price. We went 2 nights for dinner and the pasta and the meat was lovely. The personal attended us very easily
