Tasca Los Mellizos - Puerto de la Cruz

Good size portions! Some of the best value we found in Puerto. We got the stuffed mushrooms very tasty , arugadas with very tasty mojo sauces, royal salad various veg/cheese , tortilla full tortilla for €7! . Glass of house dry white wine €1.70. Couldn't really fault it. The only small thing was that they brought extra bread for the table that we didn't ask for, and didn't eat but were charged for €0.70 but everything else was so good it seemed a negligible detail. Definitely recommend. We're vegetarian btw, vegetarian selection is definitely good.

Best canarian cuisine in Puerto de La Cruz! I've visited Tasca Los Mellizos almost every day on my 18 day solo trip to Tenerife i stayed in Puerto de La Cruz. I've tried many canarian dishes, they were delicious, waiting time was not long 20 30mins, everything very fresh. Lovely owner a Polish lady named Żaneta and the cook Daniel. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Good value for money. Everything was just perfect!

Food is cheap here, but let me tell you why. For 12 euro you can have starter, main course and dessert. I ordered as a starter fried goat cheese with cranberries, which turned out to be some tastless cheese (not goat) with !blueberry! jam. Lasagne was the pre made lasagne that you can by in any supermarket. Dessert, should be a tiramisu, is another story via attached foto. It was brought to me looking like somebody ate it it already before me, and it was more like a nut cake, but very bad one. On the other hand, it costs only 12 euro and service was very quick. If you just want to fill your stomach with anything for small price, this restaurant should be your choice.

After more than a year of absence, we return to this canary food restaurant and we have noticed that it has taken a further step in our valuation. a fundamental point is the total renewal of services, now fully approved, clean and well kept. the foundations, which is food, are kept in the quality levels of always. We have tasted the fried cheese of the goat, the shrimp in the chin, the tongue and the mucus on the plate. all exquisite. an additional advantage is that when making the reservation with the fork you get a 30% discount on the prices of the letter. totally recommended for anyone who wants to try the authentic Canarian cuisine at very good price.
