Alte Heimat - Puerto de la Cruz

Excelente ambiente y comida, atención de primera, mucha amabilidad.. Claudia és muy servicial y atenta.

Recepción sencilla, no hablan ni una palabra de francés. No hay menú, solo pizarra en la pared. Plato correcto con ingredientes frescos. La pega es que no aceptan tarjetas de crédito y no lo indican en ninguna parte, afortunadamente teníamos un poco de dinero en efectivo.

My partner and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, it was very busy so we had to wait outside for a table, and boy where we glad we waited! We ordered a Currywürst with fries and a schnitzel with fries in a creamy mushroom sauce. Sadly the Gentleman in the queue in front of us to get in to the restaurant had just ordered the last of the Cürrywurst, so we ordered two of the schnitzels. The food came out well prepared, perfectly fresh and hot. The fries where already seasoned to perfection with what I believe was salt paprika. Our food was accompanied with a Cold Weißbier and larger shandy for myself (because I am a lightweight). We also loved the traditional German decor. Despite being too late to have a Currywürst, we left VERY happy indeed. So much so, we are planning to return for a second visit later this week!!

Very nice and quiet place in a small garden with passage of some gallinites perfect for a drink in the early afternoon. We haven't eaten there yet, because the dishes are very expensive. The family owns her is charming and friendly.
