Baker Street - Puducherry

Baker Street in Pondicherry is a concept store that is famous for its authentic French cuisine, from croissants and organic bread to pastries and baguettes. A must visit for all those sweet tooth out there. The moment you enter you want to have every item on the display. I was overwhelmed with the items on display and could not decide what to have and what not to. You haven't truly lived until you've stepped inside Baker Street, and trust me when I say this!! Everything is beautiful and delicious. Even the window display is irresistible. The best part? All of their products are 100% homemade. The service staffs are polite. The price is slightly on a higher side, but the moment you take a bite of what you ordered you’ll realize its word each penny you paid for! The bakery has great ambience and the menu has spread for both non-veg and veg folks. They offer take-away in a neat packaging. Parking will be a problem as the place is located on the main road.

Superb croissants, escargot chocolate (chocolate bread whirl), cinnamon rolls with a touch of french in all. We took our pastries to go and they tasted well even after a day. The spot is landed a short walk from the Promenade beach. The interiors are a welcoming treat, with coffee and other drink options. I was very impressed by the wide, fresh spread and wish I had stayed longer to try them all. Unfortunately, there is only so much one can eat!! I wouldn't mind driving 3 hours one-way again just to have the food. Really enjoyed it!! The pricing was very reasonable with the high quality of food offered. A must visit for sure, when one finds them going to Pondycherry.

The food at this restaurant was incredible and surpassed my expectations! The croissants were flaky and perfectly baked, definitely a must-try. The salads were also delicious. The weekends can get a bit hectic and crowded, but the service is still great.

I love everything about this place. Everything you try is freshly backed and full of amazing flavours. We used to be early to get our breakfast and enjoy our coffee without any rush. 5 stars. Amazing food

A perfect way to start valentine's day celebrations sitting in the infinity mirror cabins with your loved ones. This place has a good ambience and better baked stuff to complement it. We visited this place during our pondy trip. We ordered the veg burger and chocolate eclairs along with the ice-cream (mango, caramel chocolate and mixed fruit). The burgers and the eclairs were really good. So were the ice-creams. The restaurant followed appropriate covid 19 precautions which was a welcome sight. A good place to spend time with.
