Mimi Nguyen Cafe - Puchong

I don't know of many Vietnamese restaurants that are not part of a chain and/or located in malls, so this place is kinda unique in my book. Also it's located in an odd area so it kinda feels like an adventure, lol. Been around for some time and often you'd see Vietnamese folk dining here so you know you're at the right place. The menu is pretty extensive but I've never explored too much beyond less common noodle dishes. The noodles have a tonne of stuff in them proteins and greens), so it's very flavourful and satisfying. Not exactly the best dining experience, but the prices are fairly affordable so no harm trying. Used to have a killer avocado smoothie on the menu but no longer available during my most recent visit :

Located along Jalan Puchong, in a corner shop. Ample parking at night as most adjacent shops are closed. The restaurant seems to cater to many vietnamese so the menu is extensive and quite authentic to vietnamese cuisine. Also due to that, you may find the taste spicier than your usual vietnamese chain restaurants that caters to local masses. Enjoyed my favourite vietnamese tamarind drink with peanuts, sesame and ginger. So cooling and appetising. All the food pack a punch in terms of flavour. Will be back to try more items on the menu.

Very quaint place in am unexpected location. There is nothing fancy about the area except this restaurant. Great food at a reasonable price, this is our first time and can't wait to try other dishes the next time. It's always better to come really early if you are coming for dinner. Food is served very very fast here and the waiting time for seating is realtively less too. The pork chop, pork satay and beef pho is a must try

Had my healthy meal at Vietnamese restaurant. By having spring roll. My friend ordered noodles and rice. All good Coffee is good! Lemon grass ginger is good too

This restaurant is operated by Vietnamese owners and offers a diverse selection of dishes. The flavors are enjoyable and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. Plus, the food is served quickly, typically within 5 minutes. I will definitely be returning.
