Shirley's Bakery Cafe - Provo

My experience here today was not spectacular. Shirley's has a great idea, but I wasn't That happy with my sandwich. Perhaps it was just the time of day. But, my experience was good enough to give this place a second chance.

Best dinner rolls around! They are soft and extremely addicting because they are delicious. All of their desserts are good too of course. Their cafe is pretty decent too. The sandwiches are VERY expensive though and they are very small. The sandwiches oncroissants are bigger and yummy so stick with those. The Chicken Salad sandwich is seriously one of the best I have ever had. Iwould eat here a lot more often for lunch if it were a little cheaper.

Very friendly service and even better baked goods! Shirley's has some really large sweet roles that are absolutely delicious but very difficult to finish. There is always a good smell when you walk into the bakery!

Shirley's is a great local bakery. The sweet rolls are top notch. Soft, chewy, and tender bread topped with a generous amount of fluffy frosting. They are reasonably priced as well, about $1/ each for a large dinner roll sized bun. You can't go wrong withraspberry, orange, or cinnamon ... and go for the cream cheese frosting!
