Joe Vera's Mexican Rest - Provo

A decent Mexican restaurant on center street. Good location, nice ambience and friendly staff. Food is good, but not amazing. Prices seem a bit high as well.

The food was very good. No complaints there. The service was very slow. The price was a bit high. I'll probably not return. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants where the food is just as good, the price is better and the service is better.

Overall, pretty decent spot. The chicken was really good, and the chips and salsa are excellent. There’s just a lot of tough competition for Mexican in the area!

Chips and salsa amazing. huge portions. they bring out more baskets of chips that the average Mexican restaurant and additional pitcher of salsa if they run out.
