Wayland Square Diner - Providence

I wanted to check out this diner for a while, I usually enjoy Diners and this place was not disappointed! I was honestly surprised that it was as big as inside as it was because the front makes it look much smaller. I met a friend for breakfast and we could sit down just before 9:00. There are some sitting outside, but with the full sun and 85 degrees temperature we decided to eat inside. I ordered a meat lover Omelette and my friend ordered one of the great meals with pancakes, both were decent! The staff was also polite! If after a quiet diner style breakfast you will definitely check out this place!!

Order their breakfast Special and it came in 2 plates! Your balls are right and I'm happy with that.

Hi I am employee in Wayland diner there was a terrible review a month ago saying that the owner was new she heard it for 15 years.... They gave one of the worst reviews because they had parked in the loading zone, dragged our cones and let there car run with Fumes into our mosquitoes that try to eat outside. My boss asked if they could move. That was on a busy weekend... They would leave dogs in the car... One of them actually asked one of our tables if they were going... Who does that??!!! Now long story short we look out today and there they expect to be waited: I had to literally go there and tell them that we would not serve them!!! WTH is wrong with people... I just thought I'd put this out there because I'm sure they did this in other places....

Great service and good food. Nice place to sit and enjoy your morning. The Lox here were phenomenal. had to come back and just such a great place.

Been coming here for years. Good food, good portions. Friendly servers. Indoor seating is retro booths and counter. Outdoor seating with umbrellas and shade from trees. Just one flaw: no cream for coffee
