Tortilla Flats - Providence

Cheap skates!. What kind of Mexican restaurant does not give your free chips and salsa before your meal? One like Tortilla Flats, apparently. They make you PAY for them! Unbelievable. I won't go here anymore for this reason. Food is okay, but no El Tapitio!

Inconsistent. Sometimes the food here is good, other times it is very, very bad. The margaritas are apparently very tasty here. My advice is to only drink here and head to Olneyville if you want authentic Mexican.

Nasty. So we wanted to try alligator, as everyone says, that it tastes like huh. well, it tasted like rubber chicken. the teig was ok tacos stale, soggy shell gringo afteros strange but edible. had like skillful tomaten on it so made it wet.mol dash was grilled and dry. only a lil-bit mol, in which the hawn will not touch even in the sauce drowned chicken dish, so can not say. I was full of the alligator and afteros. it was with a green chili sauce on it. guacamole bland but real avocado enchilada and tamale this was served the favorite plate. tamale was good, enchilada not so much lol we are from the west coast so that the clothes hangers. read more

Always great. Top shelf margaritas are like no other eating, killer tamale’s, veggie burger, whatever, it’s all good. the staff is friendly and fast.

Never disappointed. I was in tortilla flats several times, but only once after my choice. I was so disappointed by eating that I would never have gone again for the first time, but some people enjoy eating here inexplicably so that I occasionally go there is no worse place to get a drink - the bar is big and lively, and the amount is generally friendly. it's just when you have to eat there, everything goes to hell. the first time I had eaten there, I started with chips and salsa. the salsa was really a bit of the worst I ever had. if they don't call it salsa and it's something like that, I might be more sympathetic...read more
