The Butcher Shop - Providence

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered an omelette that was supposed to have 3 eggs, but it was clearly made with just one egg. The omelette had very few ingredients in it and was barely cooked. I was so disgusted that I couldn't even eat it. On top of that, they charged me $17 for it and didn't offer a refund or any other compensation.

The sandwiches are tasty, however, I recently ordered one with avocado and noticed before taking a bite that the avocado was completely black. It wasn't just a little bit overripe, but truly black and old, leaving stains on the bread. I would have preferred if they had omitted the avocado and informed me that they were out of fresh ones. My suggestion: avoid ordering anything with avocados here.

I have been a patron of the Butcher Shop for many years. The food is always exceptional and the service is consistently fast. Their breakfast options are phenomenal, and my personal favorite is the roasted red chicken. However, when I'm in the mood for a burger, it's always a tough decision because they are equally delicious.

Yay. Went for breakfast. They have gluten free toast! And even the home fries are gluten free. Delicious.

Best quality meat in town. Delicious chicken soup. Clean as a whistle, knowledgeable, courteous man behind the prepared foods/butcher area. Yummy sandwiches breakfast too
