Contribuiți la feedbackTo preface, I have been historically spoiled by an excellent small town diner all my life. Everyone talks about Louis and everyone goes to Louis and I really want to understand why. The food is fine I have gotten pancakes and eggs and toast and home fries and muffins in separate trips) but not something I need to have more than a few times. The thing I dislike the most is the noise levels. The machinery and customers feed off each other and create an echo chamber that drains the life out of me. I understand that the noise is not something that the owners can fix, but something I wish I knew about it before going. Again, I really want to love this place but I am having a hard time doing that. Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian, you might also eat breakfast. You will probably know what classic breakfast options are vegetarian, and know to order those instead of things that have meat in them. Not sure if things are fried in shared oil/meat juices. You should probably ask. Parking: Parking on Brook St. and Charlesfield. Should not be too difficult to find. Kid friendliness: Sometimes there are very loud kids and sometimes there are very well behaved kids here. They seem to allow children into this establishment. Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs to get in :
It's been 9 years since I was at Louis and the quality is even better than I remember. The atmosphere is fun, the people are kind and helpful. It's a special place with great food. The French toast was delicious.
Their website said they're open on the 4th, no closures were listed on their socials, and their hours weren't changed on maps. I'm sure it's a great place, but it's not cool wasting our time.
Great place with a really unique vibe! Big portions of food for good prices, with all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was pretty good, it was a bit dry but tasted great! A very family friendly place that I’d recommend to anyone in the area. Check it out!
Always a good time Vegetarian options: Poached passion is a great vegetarian option
