Good pub food at reasonable prices .. plenty of TV’s for watching games

Understandably the service wasn’t amazing due to short staff, our waitress had forgotten drinks several times but it was obvious she was just overwhelmed with the lack of help on all the tables she was assigned to. The food was absolutely terrible. I had gotten the nachos to split with my table and the chicken was ice cold and was noticeably not fresh. It tasted like it had come out of a frozen bag. The nachos had little to no cheese and the cheese that was on there was one solid piece of melted shredded cheese that almost looked like it was microwaved. Other party members also had the ice cold food issue and freshness was just not a thing with any of our entrees.

Went on a Friday night. The waitress was great, they are short staffed (big sign inside tells you that) and the place was full so she informed us the kitchen was backed up and our food would be a little while. Not a problem I’m happy just being at a restaurant after all this covid stuff from last year. We ordered an onion ring tower appetizer which I highly recommend. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my girl ordered the Cobb salad with chicken. Sadly the chicken was over cooked and not that appealing. I don’t mind waiting for the food, and the waitress was great, but the food was sub par. I won’t be going back.

Was fine for a quick bite before the PC hockey game but food was ok at best. Fries were cold. Chicken sandwiches were ok, nothing special. Seemed as it the cheese and bacon had been on the chicken was on there awhile. Wings were ok, nothing special. Asked the waitress not to wait on putting our meals in for the wings because we didn’t have a lot of time but it was pretty evident she waited until they came out as she came back over once they were served to confirm one of our orders. Ended up having to rush a little bit otherwise service was fine. Burgers and quesadilla were noted to be good. Hopefully next time will be a little better.
