Contribuiți la feedbackThe green curry is BRIGHT GREEN I'm at a loss for words. Why why why did they think food coloring was a good idea??? It's usually hard to go wrong with this dish, but wow. This is the worst attempt I've ever seen. Taste is awful as well- salty chicken soup, none of the Thai flavors
Gourmet house has the best Thai/vietnamese food I've ever had (especially for the price.) I'm from ma, but have lived in nyc for 5 years, and I've been to many high-quality expensive restaurants, and I can't eat anywhere like in ny (and above all not for the same prices.) every time I come home, this is one of my favourites. eating is great, the personal is super beautiful, the prices are amazing, and it is byob! what more could you ask for ps: it is also much better than apsara’s, its sister restaurant is located about 100 feet away. eating the service and the atmosphere are better and somehow it is less crowded than apsara’s, so they are better eating for much less.
In contrast to other reviews I like gourmet house. I have been regular for years and have always enjoyed eating and service. some waiters are more friendly than others, but I always have a good time there. Bad eating, bad service and a mural of galloping horses with 6-packs.

I originally come from providence, but now in kansas. when I go back to providence, I try different restaurants. in 2007 I literally went to this place without knowing about aspara, which is literally south at the hope street (it is a little further away from the road). the menu is nothing to write home. I can't even remember what I had, but it was best and nothing special at all. I would never go back here. there are too many better places like right next door with much better touching question. try aspara in the hope street. Now they have amazing Asian foods, of which they will all tell. (see my...read more
