Bombay Club - Providence

Bombay club is a venerable Indian institution on dean st, opposite the eastern end of atwells ave about halfway to federal. it's a bit hard to see that the little lighted sign has free parking on the back. my culinary companion led me on a Friday night to the bombay club, a restaurant he visited in providence a few years ago, it seems to have been in the same situation for some time and has a dated/the interior equipment. it is obvious that most stores are performed by take-out. the staff was very polite, but seemed to be a loss in terms of how we serve. we started with a frozen mango colanda similar to a mango leti sans curd and do not add any bad combo at all. we were served with a trio of chutneys.

In the last ten years it was almost ten years ago and last time early in the last year, all this time nothing much had changed, nice location, ok but inconstant food, always is a hit or mis kind of experence and indifferent service by indian original students, mostly it was there because there is not too many choices for indian fare in ri . < br/> the commission has submitted to the enjoy

5 stars on this one all around , Food was exquisite and perfectly priced along with the portions. Ordered chicken samosa as an appetizer it came with 3 delicious sauces -tamarind , green pepper and mint, red onions chutneys. For dinner entree ordered the Goat vindaloo great portion and authentic taste, the vindaloo sauce is very spicy so if you don't like spicy so much get it on the side this restaurant is the gem off the beaten path will definitely be going back because they have a lunch buffet .

We chose to dine in here and I don't regret it! The husband and wife who own it are pleasant and friendly people. After our excellent dinner in which we tasted sundry offerings from India, we had a chat with them about various things. The restaurant is usually pretty quiet because they mostly do takeout.

Hey I'm from Chennai and last week we went there along with my colleagues.normally I like more veg items. Here I got very tasty food and it was awesome... Specially I liked veg biryani It was mild, tasty and very nice with flavours.. important part service was excellent. I would recommend to go with family and friends to Bombay restaurant @Providence.
