Askew - Providence

I visited this restaurant for the first time last Saturday to catch a performance by the Silks, and I must say, they are an amazing band—definitely worth seeing! A big shoutout to the sound engineer; the band sounded fantastic, which isn’t something you hear everywhere. The waitstaff were very attentive and friendly. A word of advice, though: there aren’t many seats available. We were fortunate to snag some spots at the bar, but most people ended up standing. If you prefer not to stand, your options for seating are limited to a few tables and bar stools, so it’s best to arrive early if you want a seat. We’ll definitely be back!

The beer was great, and the service was friendly. I enjoyed seeing Animal Face and Tall Teenagers perform as opening acts for Detroit Rebellion, who debuted their new album, "Fake News."

Askew is a fantastic spot for drinks, and they feature some incredible bands!

Great bar atmosphere, live music and delicious food that is “Askew”.

I was invited to an outdoor live music show by a friend. The band was The Silks, who played a combination of originals as well as covers. They ended with a combination of Can 't you see and Sweet Nothin which was breathtaking. The ambiance of the city street and was reasonable drink prices was a great break from the hustle and bustle of life.
