Salsa Tex Mex - Prosper

This place brings Mexican food to THE city of prosper. This place in all actuality is like a 7/10 cause the food can be pretty eh. But since im a nice guy I'll slide it 5 stars.Food: 5/5

We stopped in to try something new as there aren't that many restaurants in Prosper yet. I had just had Mexican food the day before so I ordered the fish and I was blown away by how good it was. So flavorful and different. The service was also impeccable and they have a fabulous patio!Food: 5/5

Everything was good, will definitely come back and try it again! We were seated promptly (it was even a busy Saturday and immediately served chips salsa (that's 2 kinds plus some tasty bean dip! . We sat on the patio which has fans misters to keep you cool in the Texas heat, or if you've eaten one too many jalapenos. Ordered the 1st app on the menu, to share, and it was plenty. It featured the chicken quesadillas (good , steak nachos(VERY tasty , stuffed jalapenos (was kind of like a scotch egg , pickled jalapeno slices (one of my favorites! , small bowl of queso (it was okay , guacamole sour cream, 4 chicken taquitos (crisp-okay, but still more oily/greasy than desired . This would probably be a GREAT thing to order while watching a game, haha. They are quick and polite and the food was good!

Salsa is good Mexican restaurant with fresh salsa and tortilla chips. The food is good, wait staff and bar staff are attentive. Parking is a premium having to share the lot with a gym, dance studio, and realtor. Plenty of covered outdoor seating and a safe area for the kids to run around and play games. Only complaint I have is with management. The younger manager is typically more focused on hitting on ladies than attending to his job.

This place is not real Tex Mex. It is frozen, out of a box, and over condiment food. Service was ok.
