Beckie’s Cafe - Prospect

Beckies used to be our go-to spot for delicious food and great memories. The chicken fried steak and huckleberry pie were always a treat that kept us coming back. However, since new ownership took over, the quality of the menu has drastically declined. The carefully crafted dishes have been replaced with frozen, overpriced options that lack the same care and attention to detail. The new owner's philosophy of not fixing what isn't broken is clearly just a facade. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this restaurant. While the staff is still friendly, the heartbreak of a disappointing meal is not worth the cost. Instead, support local businesses like Phil's Frosty in Shady Cove for a better dining experience and more pleasant memories. Remember to always support local establishments!

The cafe offers brunch only on weekends (at least when we visited), so we tried only their lunch menu which comprises of a few burgers and soup. Their pies are famous in the area and amazing! Don't forget to try their huckleberry pie or huckleberry soda.

Great warm place to stop near Crater Lake. We love the atmosphere and the nostalgia. The menu isnt wow worthy but everything I’ve ever had has been decent. The pies are wonderful!

Sandwiches and burgers were very good, as were the chips. Pie fillings were substantial but the crusts were so-so.

We're here today, late hours and no breakfast. no comparison. no homemade chips. fast brote with food quality. icy not served because only coke products have to be. for help. no care. it's terrible under aramark!
