Casa Ti Augusta - Proenca-A-Nova

Myself and my husband went to visit this very picturest xisto village and we came across a very welcome and friendly lady who showed us all the village and told us a bit of the story behind it. Then we went to this lovely family restaurant business who I definitely recommend it, food is great, people very friendly and welcoming and the house itself it seems that we have travelled to the past. I have loved it every bit of it. I will definitely coming back hopefully very soon. Is a obligatory stop every time I will go to Portugal. 5 Star

This is a real gem! A gorgeous building in a schist village, with a really lovely owner who speaks English too. The food was fabulous and the good wine by the carafe was great value. My wife I shared the Naco de Cabra as a main course and it was ample for 2 after a shared cheese meats platter for the table plus a goat dish (on the bone lovely! ! Highly recommended! Will definitely return! :

We have been here several times over the past five years, however we hadn’t visited for eighteen months due to the pandemic. Nothing has changed, nice service, traditional food, which we love. But I noticed a beef steak on the menu, which is something of a rare beast, so I tried it. Oh my god, it was delicious, juicy tender and bbq to perfection, would have loved it with a nice side of chips and a salad, but the potatoes and vegetable were good too. We will be back soon and both is us are going to have the steak again to make sure my memory wasn’t playing games with me.
