We love going to Wings Etc. for their food and service alike! We always sit in the bar area. All of the employees are kind and friendly from the bartenders to the hosts to the servers. We drive 30 minutes just to go here, and it’s worth it every time. Tldr: Ordered traditional wings, pickup. Decent enough, especially for the options around here. First time trying this place. All in all a smooth transaction and decently enjoyable wings. Acceptable weight/size. I would 've given 5 stars instead of 4 if almost no wings were dry/chewy on the surface, instead of occasionally, and they 'd always been very thoroughly sauced. Ordered pickup at 8pm Wednesday, due 8:16p and done 8:20p, which is fine to me. I ordered 8 traditional Asian, 8 traditional teriyaki, and a friend ordered 10 traditional mild all drums. $37.86 after tax. The interior of the restaurant was pretty chilled, which I liked. Just a few people there, including a guy drinking a pitcher while using his laptop. You pick your order up at the bar, and I remember wishing there 'd been a sign that said so near the entrance area (if there is, I missed it, but someone addressed me fairly quickly . I had pretty brief utilitarian interactions with staff and it went smoothly and predictably. I was handed a sack feeling pretty hefty, two large black plastic trays. Unpacking it, we both chose to get blue cheese and received 3 plastic cups of it total. My most important criteria with the wings was size/weight, and they covered that just fine, so it would be hard to disappoint me too much otherwise. They were at least average size, some maybe bigger. My friend elected to get only drums, which I thought was a mistake because both parts were decent in their own way. I 'm no food expert, although I cook regularly and do notice things. The sauces we chose tasted good. I sort of wished they 'd been tossed in the sauce though, for more thorough coverage. The consistency of the sauce varied. The asian sauce I had was slightly thicker and stuck to the wings better. The teriyaki was a bit thin and wanted to run off a bit into the tray bottom. My friend got mild, but let their food sit at home *an hour* before eating it, which invalidates any of their complaints a bit... but they did say the sauce was watery and had all ran off into the tray once they finally got to it. We both ran into some occasionally dry/chewy parts on the surface of some wings, but the interior was always fine. Definitely plenty enjoyable. Zero dryness is always ideal though. One suggestion for pick up wings, is the trays had a slight 'trough ' or channel along the edges, apparently meant to catch drained liquid and keep it away from the food (or maybe not intended for anything, who knows , but with wings, you want to keep them in the sauce. A tray with a smooth rounded bottom would 've let me wipe up sauce that had been in the tray bottom easier. Pizza Hut wings come with a tray like that (although I don 't recommend pizza hut wings .
