The Pizza Cellar - Princeton

I took a bit longer to decide on my order, but when I was ready, I politely ordered a beer and some food. After waiting for about an hour, our meals started arriving at different times and, unfortunately, were all cold—almost lukewarm with unmelted cheese. We mentioned this to our waitress, who apologized and said they would have the food remade. However, just five minutes later, she returned with everything, suggesting it had all been prepared in that time. This raised a lot of questions. Why didn't we see fresh oil on the fried items? Why could I easily break a mozzarella stick with my fingers? The cheese was cold—that's why. It was clear that the food had just been warmed up, not remade as promised. If it only took five minutes to get our meals after we complained about them being cold, why was there an hour-long wait initially? When I expressed my concerns to the waitress, suggesting there might have been an issue with the order, I found the situation unacceptable and stated we wouldn’t pay for a warmed-up meal that took so long to arrive. The so-called "owner" came out and was quite rude. When she didn't like my feedback, she asked us to leave, suggesting we caused the long wait by taking too long to order. Honestly, we regretted giving our business to this establishment in the first place. I left enough money for my beer and walked out. I understand that everyone has bad days, but after a long 12-hour shift, I just wanted to enjoy a meal with my family. This experience was unacceptable, and we won't be coming back.

This entire meal was prepared in just five minutes? The fry products didn’t even have fresh oil, and I was able to break a mozzarella stick apart with my fingers because the cheese was cold. It was clear that our food had just been warmed up, not actually remade as promised. If they managed to bring out our entire meal in five minutes after we complained about it being cold, why did we have to wait over an hour the first time? When I expressed my frustration to the waitress—indicating that I didn’t know if the order hadn’t been placed or if there was some other issue—she didn’t seem to address my concerns adequately. We weren't going to pay for a meal that had taken over an hour to arrive and was just reheated. Then the supposed owner came out and was quite rude. When I shared my thoughts, she dismissed me and told us to leave, blaming us for taking too long to order. It was disappointing, and frankly, we regretted bringing our business to this establishment. I left money for my beer and walked out. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but after working a 12-hour shift, I just wanted to enjoy a meal with my family. This experience was unacceptable, and we won’t be returning.

We were served a burnt pizza with a blackened crust, and the bottom was as tough as cardboard. It was clear that whoever made this pizza knew it was overcooked. I'm never going back!

They served us a burnt pizza. The outer crust was black and the bottom was like cardboard. Whom ever made this pizza knew it was obviously burnt! They just lost my business!

On Thursday, Sept. 22 we had a pizza which was very greasy n crust was burnt. We ordered lasagna to take home and it was very salty and dry. You couldn't even pick out the noodles it was so dry..worst lasagna we ever tried..wasn't edible..we were sodisappointed to say the least..we were there about 7 p.m
