Sophisticated Hound Brewing Company

We stopped by this restaurant to take a break during our road trip, and we really enjoyed it! The beer was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We appreciated that the place is dog-friendly, as we were traveling with our dog, who also received a warm welcome from the hostess. We will definitely make a stop here again on our next trip!

This place has a really cool vibe, and I absolutely love the outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. They had a selection of five beers and shandies on the menu, but they were all "tapped out." The menu sounded promising, but the food was just basic frozen items that they heat up. I ordered the pretzels, and they were indeed just standard frozen pretzels. They came with cheese and mustard; the mustard was decent, but the cheese was straight from a can. We also tried a Mexican lager, which was overly hoppy. I typically enjoy a good Mexican lager, but this one missed the mark. If you’re serving a Mexican beer, it should definitely be garnished with lime, which might have improved it. A bit of spice or heat would have been a great addition too!

This was my first time at this Brewery as I was in town for business and wanted an escape from the typical franchise restaurants and bars. I made a great choice as this establishment offers the best in food and beverages in Princeton WV. They are a boomingplace with what they offer plus great, friendly staff and musical entertainment that fits all moods. I can't wait for my nextbusiness trip there to enjoy again! As for anyone else who is looking for a great all around food and beverage experiencewhether you live local or just passing through, just get there, sit back, let the incredible staff take care of you, relax, andenjoy the moment because you need it and the Sophisticated Hound Brewery can Bring It! This is such a cute place! I love the patio with the cool murals. There are usually cornhole boards set up outside and there's often live music there in the evenings. Also, the beer and the food are top notch. Definitely get yourself a flight so you cantaste a variety of beers.

Fantastic craft beer and delicious food! Matt, Shane, and Chuck were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon.
