Dolly's Fish Market - Prince Rupert

Fish here after a guided trip. They took 17 pounds of ling cod. I got six pounds back. I'm sorry they marked it wrong. Not true. I will never recommend this place to everyone. And I never go back.

The place for seafood! A very busy place, but worth waiting. We went for dinner, fish and chips and the next day for lunch Clam Chowder. Both very tasty.

My husband and Inrecently ate at Dolly. I would have more attention to the travel advisor reviews. We had both Halibut and I can honestly say it was about the worse piece of fish ever. I learned later that Dolly's hands changed.

New owners since last October, not the famous place it used to be! Have been going since 2008, it was phenomenal. Now portions are smaller, quality is terrible, and “captain’s platter changed from halibut to cod for same price! Seriously! And usual Caesar salad included...went to coleslaw.

My fish batter was too thick, gooey and felt like there was cheese mixed in. Was there? Who knows. The crab burger is off the menu. The other offerings are pretty bog standard. Service was hardly visible, though there were only two other tables occupied...when I was there early evening on a weekday. The outdoor seating area is comprised of wooden picnic tables in the parking lot. Ambience lacking. It's a mystery to me why this is well-reviewed.
