Bites of Bliss - Prince George

Located in the ramada. Walked by once, but they weren't open yet. My sister bought us cupcakes twice from here and they were really good. Soft texture and not over mixed. Very good icing. Enjoyed the Nutella one and the chocolate cupcakes.

Bites of Bliss is a small 'cakery' in the Coast hotel. At the front, there are two small displays with cupcakes and cake pops. I was a bit surprised to walk in and see some pretty empty displays. Not a whole lot of product out, like you are accustomed to seeing in local bakeries. I picked up 6 cupcakes for a birthday - total came to just over $18. I thought, this is slightly absurd... The only cupcake flavour I truly enjoyed was the salted caramel, but it was still just ok. I found the cake to be dry, no buttery rich flavours that I was hoping for. I'm truly disappointed, but also thankful I didn't get my wedding cake done here. I won't ever go here for cake, this place is overrated and way overpriced for the quality you get.
