For the Christmas afternoon tea. absolutely fabulous! if I had ten points, I would do that. £29-95 for two people. mini soup, mini table and chips. 4 triangular sandwiches, sinks and cheeses with cranberry), 3 mini-baked halves, truthahn, with sausage meat stuff and cranberry, a roasted egg and a smoked salmon). mini pigs in cover. 7 mini sweets each. I have a takeaway box, around 5 of me in!) and of course there was tee and coffee. a 250ml glazed wine. it was presented beautifully on a 3rd stand and the table had linen cloth and linen serviettes. real china carpets and Christmas crackers. they must book 24 hours in advance. the service was excellent with friendly staff. we will definitely try another meal.

The soup came in a charming little teacup and was thick and flavorful—definitely a treat! The quiche was quite good as well. For the 11-year-old, we decided to order an adult portion, but the table also had a children's option that looked perfect for younger kids. The service was exceptional and really enhanced the experience. The presentation in vintage teacups, saucers, and side plates added to the charm. I would recommend dining here without hesitation, especially for afternoon tea. We can't wait to return and try more from the menu!

Of course, there was a selection of tea and coffee, as well as a 250ml glass of wine. Everything was beautifully presented on a three-tiered stand, and the table was set with a linen cloth and fabric napkins. We enjoyed using real china plates and even had Christmas crackers! Be sure to book at least 24 hours in advance as it's definitely worth it. The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back to try another meal!

The scones, especially when freshly baked, rank among the best I've ever had. The pumpkin scones are delightful—I’ve bought them to take away twice now. The scones and custard pies are quite substantial as well. They also cater to various dietary needs, offering gluten-free and vegan options in their assortment of cakes and pastries. As for meals, every time I've eaten here, the food has been great—better than most pubs I've visited recently. There are many good options on the menu, all well-presented and very tasty. The standout for me is the complete vegetarian breakfast, paired with a cup of tea topped with soy milk.

Have been sitting here for the Christmas afternoon tea with my mother. at £29.95 for two people it was definitely one of the best in the afternoon tees we had. it consisted of a small cup mushroom soup, a small filet of fish and chips and mini boars in cover. sandwiches contain cheese and cranberry, ham and tomato, smoked salmon, roasted beef and bark bags, truthahn and filling. the selection of sweet tasty eggs was excellent. miniature minze cake, stollen, ingwer brot biscuits, chocolate mousse star, chocolate and caramel mousse chocolate present and an erdnus and white chocolate button. they get a selection of tea or coffee. mum had to bring the most sweet tasty home as she couldn't finish her! each person gets at the end a 250ml glass hot glow wine, I had to drink both as my mother drove! we will come back in the future to try the rest of the extensive menu.
