Haighton Manor - Preston

We came here on a Monday night and was very surprised by how busy it was although I think that they had a special promotion on food… The service was absolutely shocking, we had to wait 20 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order and then it was at least another minutes before the drinks arrived.. The food service was no better and when the food did arrive there was no apology. On the plus side the food was quite good …. So, in summary , dreadful service but decent food. We won’t be rushing back.

Our first time at Haighton Manor. Sunday lunch starters mains and deserts. All the food was excellent. The service was also excellent, attentive but not over the top. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. All in all a great lunch, not cheap, but you get what you pay for

Lovey Sunday lunch can recommend the roast beef the braised shoulder of lamb, the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. The setting is lovely over looking the countryside, the ambience inside the pub is calm and pleasant. The staff are welcoming polite and efficient, would definitely recommend.

Comfortable elegant house with lovely gardens . Very friendly host . Good local amenities within walking distance . Overall a wonderful place to stay

Really nice afternoon with friends. I ordered the roast beef and dark chocolate tart and it was all delicious. Staff were really friendly and it’s a really cosy place for a cold, winters day.
