Canton Dragon Chinese Cuisine

Great first time to Canton Dragon! My sister and I took our aunt and mother to Mother's Day. Excellent rice soup and orange beef. Come here early. They told us that we should hurry to order as they would start cleaning the kitchen. This was an hour and 45 minutes before they were closing.

We dined here for lunch and appreciated the atmosphere, along with the quality of the food, though it was on the pricey side. However, my main issue was with the staff hovering too closely as we finished our meals. As soon as we took our last bites, they were right there to clear our plates, standing just a few feet away and waiting for us to finish. It felt a bit intrusive, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy, and we weren’t occupying the table for long. It created an uncomfortable vibe. I really hope the management takes note of feedback like this, as we certainly can’t be the only ones who feel this way—and it’s a reason we won’t be returning anytime soon.

The food was delicious and felt more authentic and less processed compared to places like Panda Express. My only issue is that they serve dishes without asking first. I prefer my water without ice, and my husband doesn't like egg drop soup. However, as soon as you sit down, they bring these items out, and we don’t want to waste food, even though it's really good.

The restaurant is lovely, and the food was delicious. The portions are quite large!
