Casa Alvarez - Prescott

All I can say is wow! This little hidden gem is one of the most delicious, handmade, authentic, pre-crat Mexican cuisine I have ever had in my life. I really can't explain enough, but I had different Mexican foods my whole life and this place is definitiw on the top of my list. try it, I promise they won't be disappointed <3

Heard about this hidden gem, literally a hidden gem in the back of a diner during the day Mexican cuisine in the evening. All I can say is WOW!!!! Probably top three Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. The Blanco enchilada combo is MINDBLOWING! If I could give these wonderful people 10 stars I would. Its a MUST try if you're looking to dine in for dinner in downtown Prescott!!

Great food and service. very casual atmosphere. the owner was friendly enough to go by and chat. great pour on my tequila shot. very reasonable prices too.

First time going here, sadly it will be last. I got the pork burrito, and it had big pieces of meat, and it was tasty. But the beans lack flavor. My husband got the red burrito it was more like Chipotle, and very salty and very over season. There was nothing in the description of the burrito being Chipotle, and if my husband knew this, he wouldn't of ordered it He couldn't even finished it his meal. We did tell the waitress (when we paid for it) that we felt the burrito was over season and heavily salted, and she laughed at us until my husband told her we were serious how we felt about the burrito. She then said that she was going to tell her father about it and walked away. Plus we were sitting near the station where they were making the drinks and it was very loud and we had to pause our talking until they were done making the margaritas. while prefer to support the mom and pop places this is one place we will not go back to

Nope. In my opinion its odd that 2 different Establishments can share the same kitchen in the same day. One being breakfast. Dinner bell) Next being Mexican food. Aside from the split floor plan of the kitchen, dinner bell is the only place to use the restroom, so if you're eating at Casa Alvarez and need to use a restroom you need to exit Casa Alvarez go to the front of the building enter dinnerbell cafe while it's closed for the evening to use the restroom. The food wasnt worth the hassle.
