One of my favorite sores. Great food, superlative sweets, kind staff. Frequented several times in 2022, with my great surprise and disappointment I found it closed in 2023. Too bad, really. I was able to finish the excursions only with the mirage of the desserts that I expected. Sigh.

We book for lunch at the Valmaggiore hut. The very pretty girl takes orders and we specify to want the meat well cooked being I pregnant. The cook brings us the dishes and I unfortunately see that the meat was not cooked as required (which can happen but peeled the lady takes away the dish without saying a word and comes back shortly after with the meat well cooked laying the dish in lean way on the table. We remain very ill with this attitude. From this situation we cannot taste the dishes that were also very good. I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't come back.

We stayed twice in three days, the first time we stopped after a walk to the cece lake, the second with friends who came to visit us. great service, staff always smiling and helpful, excellent dishes (from meat to side dishes not to mention desserts), very nice location and the second time there were also musicians who cheered lunch. prices in the norm of the various refuges visited. highly recommended.
