Coyle's Family - Prairie Grove

Food was good. We had the pinto bean, greens, fried potatoes with cornbread. Not very seasoned. 1 piece of corn bread but the waitress did bring my husband a second piece. Fried green tomatoes, which was $9 but only about 4 pieces. Terrible deal on that. Good service. Tea was good.

Food was good but took what seemed like an hour to arrive after ordering. No warning it would be slow or checking on us during the wait until about 30 minutes into it when we were told our table's food was next (when we finally asked). Wrong. Took at least 20 minutes more. They could have at least offered us a salad or bread while we were waiting. Nothing.

We stopped here after going to the pool. It was around 6:30pm and we were seated immediately. The salad bar was great and the chicken was good too. Docking 2 stars because there were several times where we thought they forgot about us. Food took close to 30 minutes to come out and several of our sides (fries, mashed potatoes, etc... We're cold when we got them.

Exactly what you would want from a home cooked meal (without having to clean the kitchen) I had the chopped steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. My friend had the Philly cheese steak minus the bell peppers and onion rings. I could not decide on dessert so I had both the key lime pie and carrot cake.

I booked the fire place room for a surprise engagement party, with very short notice, and the staff at Coyle?s we very accommodating in making this happen. The waitress we had handled a group of 35+ people with a smile and excellent service. The food tasted amazing, was hot and quick. I would highly recommend Coyle?s Restaurant!
