Hako Sushi - Prahran

One of the better places to have Bento on Chapel street. More than enough of everything and great tasting. Brown rice sushi rolls are really good too.

I wasn't overly confident in the cleanliness here what with two filthy unlabelled plastic bottles by the frond door and ageing newspapers. However the seafood udon was pretty good and not too salty.

This is a very clean place and the staff were very helpful and obliging. We found the food was of a high quality and plenty of variety. The prices very affordable. We enjoyed the experience.

I ordered vegetarian dishes Hako Sushi through Deliveroo and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The food looked like it had been slopped into takeaway boxes and had no flavour whatsoever. I ordered the following dishes:Vegetarian Don - $12.00Vegetarian Yaki Udon (Wheat Noodle) - $11.00Vegetable Tempura (3 pieces) - $5.50Agedashi Tofu (3 pieces) - $6.50Total Order - $40.50The worst part of the meal was the Agedashi Tofu. Despite this order being a vegetarian meal the tofu had fish sauce and mayonnaise saturating the dish. It was inedible.

Good value for money. I have about 4 favourite japanese take aways in the area and this is the least frequented but still as good as the others.
