It wasn't your typical Mille-feuille with at least two layers of cream. This one only had one. The pistachio macaron was good. Now, there is no visible queue. While waited in what I assumed was a queue, a guy just walked up, and demanded to be served. And they did. So after a couple of those, the gentleman in front of me put his foot down and we were both attended. The place is clean with tables both upstairs and downstairs. They have free Wi-Fi but it was pretty spotty while I was there.
Delicious stop for a quick lunch: quiche for me, a ham cheese on croissant for my spouse. Delicious, fast, clean, and inexpensive!
I like Paul and not only because I have a discount there : I usually buy bagguetes (my favourite one is tuna or something with chocolate and it's really good. And I definitely recommend tart. Anyway this Paul is not really different than any other. I feel the same in all of them and it's good because I feel good there. It's not really France but what the heck :
We had breakfast here since it was close to our hotel. It was pricey. The pastries were delicious as was the lattes. The ham and cheese sandwich was good but the bread was really hard. It was pretty crowded and was a small place. There was no outside seating at this location.
An excellent bakery whit sandwichs and soups also. Just go and take a break. But put this stop on your route. I eat the red beans soup and it was very very good. The thing with the cream and strawberry was heavenly.
