Contribuiți la feedbackLovely staff, delicious food options with a 'happy hour ' between 3&5 pm!
There is a wide variety of vegan options available at this restaurant, including quiches, marinated seitan stew, fresh raw vegetables, and more. The food was delicious and you pay based on the weight of your plate. I paid approximately 5€ for a generous serving. I highly recommend this place! They also offer outdoor seating.
A canteen style place with a selection of 2 lunch menu options changing daily. The portions are big, but fortunately you can adjust it to a smaller size. The meals are average, served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery. It's a self-service, but the shop assistants are friendly. The place is very cramped, during the lunch you usually sit down with a stranger as there are only a few tables available, but all the visitors have the same mindset so it doesn't really matter : Conclusion: Great place if you're looking for a quick healthy meal during your lunch break.
Country Life is the best health food shop ive found in Prague so far, offering plenty of meat substitutes, vegan mylks, nuts, fruit, veg etc. Just around the corner is its affliated restaurant, which offers a small buffet of salad options, warm veg variations on Czech foods, some desserta and fresh juices (many of the dishes contain soy meats and tempeh). You pay for your food by weight and takeaway is also available. The food is quick, convenient and tasty, although nothing too outstanding. They could improve the restaurant by specifically labelling the vegan options. Otherwise if youre in need of a quick feed, its a great place to go.
I highly recommend this grocery store as one of the best veggie-friendly options in Europe. Despite its small size, it offers a good selection of soy yogurts, soy meats, fresh bread, fruits, veggies, herbal teas, grains, pasta, and more. It is conveniently located near Old Town Square in Prague - simply walk south down the alley across from the Astronomical Clock. While most items are labeled in Czech (with a few in English), be sure to have a dictionary handy for unfamiliar ingredients. I would suggest avoiding the nettle kombucha, but the soy salami and various flavors of soy yogurt were delicious.
