Contribuiți la feedbackI visited the amano to the breakfast during my five-day stay. everything that belongs to a good breakfast is offered. I liked the loft style especially. the most impressive was a young service person. she was almost all days alone. smiling and with a thousand eyes and hands, with the speed of superwoman she cleaned, cleaned and refilled. a coffee machine that was broken, rude guests, all that she manages alone. the fifth belongs christina. many thanks!
Dined at Amano with my girlfriend after having noticed its charming appearance the night before (unfortunately for us, we had already ate dinner at that point). We were greeted by welcoming and inviting staff and immediately fell in love with the charisma of the place. I browsed the exciting menu, and went with the fried egg risotto with summer truffles followed by a chocolate fondant. After we got our drinks, a waiter cuts up fresh bread and placed it on our table. Moments later another waiter rocks up and lights a candle. But not just any candle. He explains that this is a beef tallow and parmesan candle, and we are to dip our loafs of bread in the oils as the candle burns. Tasty! While we wait excitedly for our main course, we get another fun treat. A lovely leaf shaped parmesan snack to really get our taste buds going. Next, the main course arrives. A beautifully plated risotto dish with a delicate fried egg on a bed of risotto topped with a generous serving of truffle. It was excuisite! Great flavours, and cooked to perfection. The meal was finished off with a tasty chocolate/pistachio fondant with a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. 10/10 will eat there again next time I'm in town. Atmosphere 10/10 Staff 10/10 Food 10/10 Pricing 10//10
A good menu in a modern place, the staff are welcoming and polite. The food itself is good and the price is what you expect for a good restaurant downtown. I miss a bit more options for a person who dont like seafood. Recommended.
We had rabbit and zuccini risotto with lamb, both dishes were very good. Quick, professional, not too much of a chit-chat English speaking service on Easter Friday. Good price for food, unfortunately price-wine ratio not as good. Clean toilets, nice and calm atmosphere, good location a little to the side from the busiest tourist streets.
I was here for dinner at a Saturday evening. I ordered lamb chops with a small salad. It took one hour to get the food prepared even the restaurant was not fully packed. At least the meat quality seemed to be very good and the taste was great. But I paid in the end with water and tea 50 EUR, which was more expensive than in Germany. It seems to be kind of a ripp-off, maybe a tourist trap. This restaurant is run by an Italian, the chef is coming from Czech republic. He did a good job except for the waiting time. The service was friendly and considered special requests regarding food sensitivities, for example they offered toasted gluten free buckwheat bread and coconut oil for a free starter. The atmosphere is due to the concrete walls and kind of hallway not so warm and cosy. At least the lighting made a good atmosphere.
