Contribuiți la feedbackWhile visiting family in Italy, they wanted to take us out to a good restaurant. They know I love good food and we usually end up spending most of our time at Nonna's or eating amazing Italian street food as we wander through the winding streets of Italy. Rarely do we get to stop and eat in restaurants and so they wanted to give us a good restaurant experience. This did not disappoint. The exterior of the restaurant is unassuming if you're the type to judge a book by its cover, you probably skipped this place. As we arrived for Sunday Lunch the door was locked but with a swift knock the owner came from the kitchen and welcomed us in warmly shaking everyone's hand and ushering us to our seats. This restaurant is extremely clean and smaller. Two big tables for family line opposite walls and there is a 4 top and what I believe was a 6 top in between. I'm not sure if Sundays are a special meal that you need to reserve or not, but the door remained locked and several people seeking entrance were turned away as the place was completely full. Brightly colored, and nicely decorated, we sat chatting, eating bread, and drinking water for a bit. I believe the owner's wife waiting on us and she was extremely sweet and took time for our slightly rambunctious 18 month old daughter. Then the courses began to arrive. I cannot begin to remember everything we had in the first round. Octopus salad cooked perfectly. Something I believe was crab salad served on large clam shells. Garlic mussels on the half shell that were oven roasted in their juices. Small sweet clams. Then came fried whole shrimp, with fried fish, and other fried goods. There were dishes after dishes. Everything was fantastic and fresh. We then hit the pasta course and chose to have Paccheri with seafood and crab meat. Then some more fish, fried fish, then some salad and finally a choice of desserts. If you're looking for a quick meal this style isn't the way to do it we had an amazing lunch over the course of several hours truly Italian style while we talked and chatted. If I ever get to choose a last meal of all the meals I've had this was probably the one I'd choose. So many great things that I can't even begin to remember and didn't document well enough. If you get the chance find someone to take you here to eat. Whatever the cost (as our family paid, they refused to tell us the cost so I can't say I'm sure it wasn't cheap) it's well worth it.
Ottima trattoria, si mangia bene e si paga poco. Porzioni abbondanti e antipasto enorme. Per info varie si può anche chiamare e anche fare richieste, il menù è piccolo, poche cose ma tutte buone!
