The New Inn - Powys

Wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and managed to book this evening. The wait didn’t disappoint, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant has an authentic feel, there’s a great choice of traditional Ghurka food and the staff are efficient. Looking forward to the next visit already!

This place is a real find. Simple, comfortable accommodation with a fantastic Nepalese restaurant attached we ate there both nights. The breakfast is also excellent. The Inn is run by a charming Nepalese couple who are very friendly and welcoming. Talgarth itself is lovely, with the river Ennig running through it.

We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful evening.

Just returned from a two night stay at The New Gurkha Inn, Talgarth. What a gem of a place, room was very clean, warm cozy, the restaurant downstairs has a superb large choice of dishes, all cooked fresh with amazing flavours, excellent value for pure quality food too,washed down with Gurka beer!,staff all very, very friendly and helpful, could not do enough for you, continental breakfast with a huge choice to suit everyone, I would highly recommend The New Gurkha Inn, great base to explore the Brecon Beacons and surrounding area's of buety
