The Lamb Inn - Powys

I had a meal at this restaurant yesterday and it was the best food I've had in a long time. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The cakes were also amazing. Thank you.

After a lengthy drive, we parked in the carpark by the river and crossed the road to find the Strand Café. The weather was lovely, so we opted for outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and our food arrived promptly. We both ordered breakfast, one large and one standard, along with a pot of tea and a very nice coffee. The total bill came to £13, which we found to be quite reasonable. The waitress also offered us complimentary toast with our breakfasts, although we found that we didn't need it as the portions were quite generous.

I absolutely adore this place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean, and the staff is friendly, especially Neil who is extremely nice.

Used this café whilst attending the no bull just beer bikes rally in may will use it again in august. Recommend it to everybody superb food and fantastic staff and a good mug of tea.
