Plas Yn Dinas - Powys

Me and my wife visited for Sunday lunch with our dog maisy. We both ordered the roast beef followed by sharing a stickee toffee pudding. Food and Service was excellent. Will definitely recommend. Really nice atmosphere in the pub.

The food at this restaurant was inconsistent. Some dishes were dry and overcooked, and my friend's Tagliatelle was overly oily. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning, as this was not the first time we have been let down by the food. Even our pizza takeaway on another occasion left us feeling dissatisfied, especially after driving 20 minutes to pick it up. It is a shame, as this place used to be a good pub with great food. However, the bartender was very welcoming and friendly to all customers.

Outstanding in every aspect....service, food, location, and also dog friendly (in the bar area)! We enjoyed the pate and mushroom starters, followed by the crispy beef and steak burger for mains. All were absolutely delicious. Plas Yn Dinas would definitely be a frequent spot for us if we were locals, but we were fortunate to stumble upon it while on holiday in the area. A delightful discovery!

6 of us on holiday came here for Sunday lunch and we’re certainly delighted that we did. The Sunday roasts were excellent as was the service. Looking forward to returning at some point. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Hidden gem. Excellent service and delicious food . Very attentive service for our party of 7. Beautiful location and extensive menu for all tastes and diet needs, including plant-based , gluten free and dairy free. Very family friendly, especially families who have young children . Highly recommended to future customers, family and friends.Will definitely return in the future. Thank you
