Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped off in Builth Wells on our journey North and did not have high hopes of finding somewhere good for lunch on a Monday. We liked the look of Georgie Porgie 's it looked friendly and comfortable and the food seemed interesting, offering something a bit different to the usual lunchtime offer in other cafes. We sampled the frittata (choice of more than one all looked good) and a ciabatta sandwich. Both were excellent, and a world away from mass produced quiche that is available in some places. A successful and enjoyable lunch stop thank you!
Staying locally and stopped here for lunch on recommendation of our holiday home owners. Very quirky small coffee shop and dog friendly. Two paninis, two rarebits, four hot drinks enjoyed inside, and some cake to go. You can choose some homemade quiche or fritatta with salad bar, or there are menus with hot food. All our meals came with a small side salad and the paninis included a side of crisps. Enjoyable, but portion sizes varied with the rarebit being just one slice of bread. Cakes eaten later were out of this world. We went for a chocolate mini eggs brownie, a strawberry crumble blondie and a cherry bakewell blondie. I'd recommend a visit for the cakes alone but be expected to pay.
Had a tasty hot chocolate with lots of cream on top was really nice. Staff lovely with lots cakes all home made. Would go again.
