New China Chinese - POWHATAN

I'm visiting Powhatan, Virginia, and I must say the food is fantastic—affordable and with plenty of choices. The dining area is free from frying, which I appreciate. The only downside is that the service was a bit slow. Overall, a solid experience!

The fast food here is consistently good. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. The portion sizes are generous for a very reasonable price. The Philly cheese steak rolls are particularly tasty and offer a nice twist on the traditional menu items. This is definitely a great spot to explore various options on the menu. I've never ordered anything I didn't enjoy here.

It's unfortunate that Allens is located so close by, especially since they have such a lovely restaurant. While I have encountered some truly delightful staff at Allen's who were always incredibly kind, and their atmosphere is pleasant, New China completely outshines them when it comes to food. I can't express enough how much I love their dishes, and the family that runs the restaurant are some of the kindest, most humble people you'll meet. I wholeheartedly recommend New China to everyone in Powhatan.

This is the best place in town. Always nice when I come in. Remembers me when it's been a month since my order. The food here is excellent.

Been to this place about 10 times. Prices are good, food is consistent and good considering the price. My go to in the area for Chinese. This is your typical American style Chinese take out. Very friendly but aggressive with their quoted times. Seems to always be 15 minutes while it usually takes longer. A couple times I waited for about 40 minutes.
