River Station Restaurant - Poughkeepsie

The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat outside and there was a great view of the bridge and the water. Food was awesome. The Bruschetta appetizer was so delicious but enough for 4 people. We came for the Oktoberfest but arrived too late for the stein hoisting none the less we had a great time. We chose the Weiner Schniezel and the Wurst Platter both were delightful. Our waitress Deirdre was extremely polite, personable, funny and attentive. She made our experience wonderful and relaxing. The music coming from downstairs in Oktoberfest area was entertaining. The food was fabulous it was served hot and we were not rushed along to finish our courses. There was a large party of 60 people upstairs but it didn't hamper the food service downstairs. Did I mention Deirdre was awesome?? Oh that's right I did!!!! She is worth mentioning again!! We can't wait to go back again and visit. We highly recommend River Station Restaurant!!!

Great Service. Walked in the door and were greeted immediately and shown to our table. Mary our server was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Started with the crab cakes which were delightful. Soft and full of flavor. I had the New York strip steak cooked to perfection. Girlfriend had the prime rib. Sides were hot and fresh. Dessert was also fantastic. All with a great view of the Hudson River and walk along bridge. Couldn't be happier and can't wait to go back.

We had an engagement party of almost 60 guests and we could not be happier with River Station. We had the entire top floor for our party and they allowed us to decorate however we wanted. The food was delicious- hot, fresh, and ready to go on our time schedule. Our servers were awesome- friendly, helpful, and catered to our needs. I highly recommend River Station for your event or for casual dining. I will definitely be using them for events in the future and will continue to dine here regularly.

I was there with family from North Carolina we all had burgers be in that Monday was half price off everything was delicious the service was wonderful the atmosphere was great I highly recommend this place and always have

My family and I have been coming here for years. We never had a bad meal. Good menu and reasonable prices. Great view of the river.
