Mapleview Cafe - Poughkeepsie

This place is hands down amazing !!! The staff is extremely kind. The ice cream choices are delicious best in town !!!

While we were in the area we decided to find an ice cream place so we picked one from Yelp and when we got there it was closed. We picked another called Debbie's. When we arrived it was called Mapleview so we went in. There was a large selection and they had other menu items as well. There were 4 of us, getting different flavors. We all agreed on calling it delicious. The servings were very large. We talked with the owner and he is the kind of person we would want to support. Yelp needs to update their records. I will eventually rate it there. Mapleview would be on our list as a regular if we didn't live 2000 miles away.

Mapleview really has the greatest homemade ice cream ever! To say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I send everyone I know there. The flavors change constantly and they use fresh local ingredients. Last summer's raspberry and cream, and sweet corn with blueberry are two flavors that will forever have a piece of my heart. The owners are wonderful and the food is surprisingly delicious. They made me a custom ice cream birthday cake that everyone was crazy about. In my opinion Mapleview is the hidden gem of the Hudson Valley.

Love the homemade fresh food and the gluten free options! This place is a little gem!

Absolutely fantastic food, and the ice cream is beyond compare. Seriously, this has spoiled me to the point where I can only eat ice cream from this place.
