Pottsville Tavern

I’d like to express my gratitude to this lovely tavern for accommodating us for lunch on such short notice. We visited to reconnect with my family after a couple of years apart due to lockdown. Despite the kitchen being closed, they graciously served us their delicious special lunch, and the portions were generous. Thank you so much!

This pub has a super friendly atmosphere! I was a bit surprised to find that 95 percent of the gaming area is a smoking zone, which is a bit inconvenient. The food is quick and just what you’d expect. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a beer and then taking a stroll along the waterfront.

Agree with Tom Chapman and Hooked on Brooke we had lunch there today 30 Nov 2020. Good selection of food quick service very friendly staff. Just a pity this place does not have beach front it would be 5 star. We will return.

Busy tavern- nice food at reasonable prices. A little noisy for a quiet dinner. Would go back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem for the locals, tucked away without any street visibility. To get there, you'll need to drive around to the back of the Foodworks and past the Tavern's bottle shop. It embodies the charm of Pottsville—unpretentious, without flashy neon signs, yet offers great meals and a variety of tap beers. The venue boasts a spacious outdoor area, ample indoor seating, and a large smoking section. If you're after something upscale, this might not be the place for you. However, if you appreciate a genuine atmosphere with quality food in a well-managed establishment, you’ll find it perfect.
