Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is a fantastic spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. It's perfect for people-watching, especially in the bustling area of Kings Cross. The drink prices are reasonable, maybe even a bit cheaper than other places. The restaurant has three levels, live music on weekends, and offers good lunch options. However, be prepared to wait a bit if it's busy.
Best service from Daniel!! Great at making cocktails and super friendly. 5 stars! He made us tourists feel really welcome xx
5* for a place you don't really like? 5* for a non merivale pub? This is a solotel pub...who? Bruce Solomon is the quiet achiever of our pub scene...the sheaf and the Opera Bar are 2 of this countries biggest, and just 2 of his yuuuge stable. They have things in common. Efficiency on steroids, decent eats and something community orientated. Here, it's the kings cross theatre. It's a wonderful, small theatre company, showcasing our best new talent. Go there! Also contributing to the 5* review was this unexpectedly excellent spinach Dahl, rich with curry leaves and great complexity. The paratha bread was flaky and in good shape. The ability to add stuff, in this case a perfectly boiled egg, has started me thinking this annoying order via app from your table thing has legs. Thanks Bruce. I still really don't like this place, and you should serve food for as long as you serve booze, but the plusses really work.
After frequenting many bars in Sydney, I can confidently say that this establishment may not impress from the exterior, but the interior reveals where the investment has gone. Downstairs boasts a spacious bar and seating area with large screens for sports fans, while upstairs features a stylish bar setup with a lovely terrace and secluded balconies. The beer selection is decent, and the menu is visually appealing.
I had a really pleasant 2 hours here today. The staff are not just nice, they are friendly and super polite. The young man with the Mambo t-Shirt was super impressive. He’s what society needs these days.
