Black Bear - Pottersville

We saw this place when we drove a scenic winter trip to Newcomb and back and stopped for lunch. Wife and I couldn't finish half the club sandwich. Good food, great waiting staff. Everything was for Kovid prevention and felt safe eating there. Would go back. You also accept credit cards, for I think a $10 minimum.

Delicious food and excellent customer service! This is a very local institution and the employees treat you like one of the locals. You have great prices and a decent menu. It's a local jewel safe in the Adirondacks.

Definitely a great place to stop through the mountains. Especially if you take 87, not much from Adirondack. Staff very nice and food fresh and varied.

What a sweet little stain! The food was very good and our waitress was friendly and efficient. We even got cute Black Bear T-shirts to remember our visit.

Saw Black bear on the way back from Schroon lake. Waitress was very friendly, and the food came out so fast. I had the meatloaf dinner it was very good with real mashed potatoes with red skins and delicious brown gravy, kraft Mac and cheese for my daughter which is perfect because she doesn't like the fancy kind, husband had a papa bear burger and fries good sized portion and he said very good, and my son had chicken qusadillas which he said were fair. We will def be back. Always a fan of down home country food.
