Anna Amalia Restaurant mit Seeterrasse

We have the 38 today. Our daughter's birthday celebrated. The ambience was right this summer evening to sit outside, the service was totally nice, the food was very good and the boss personally ensured with a nice insert for the birthday child for fun at the table. It was a coincidence that at least 5 other birthday skiers were present (maybe the boss and his staff will not have so often), all of whom were given a little by a robot driving in the restaurant. It was a really nice evening and we'll be back.

We have been on holiday here for 5 days now, this is our 3rd visit to the restaurant in that time. The food is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful too. Worth a visit if you are in ever in the Potsdam area.

For a restaurant at a campsite it is really incredible! Great value for money since you are getting good food served for very reasonable prices. Furthermore they have good beers en busy but friendly staff. Since it is not possible to make a reservation (is full house anyway!) you have to be there early and maybe have to wait for a while. Its worth it! We were staying at the nearby (walking distance) convention hotel and visited this restaurant several times to get away from the crowded en lousy hotel buffet. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I had one of the most relaxing and romantic dinners there. We decided to ditch the fancy restaurants in Berlin and went on a scenic drive to Potsdam.Tucked away next to a beautiful lake and a campsite, Anna Amalia makes you feel as if you were invited to a German host's home for a hearty homecooked meal.I highly recommend the veal in pear sauce with black pepper and rosti. I am not adventurous with food (sweet and savoury on one plate) but the veal is an equivalent of a great big loving hug, if I can even describe it in that way.Pop by early to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the view and be prepared to wait a little for your meal because it is not made from anything processed but from scratch. Anything good is always worth the wait!

This was our first two week camping trip and this was our 5th place we stayed. The camping is amazing and has every facility you need, although it wasn't completely finished yet. We stayed here the longest of any place because it is so nice and eat 2 times at this restaurant.The restaurant has a long chart so there is plenty to choice from. The food was very good, staff is nice. Because of a translation error from German to English my daughter didn't get French fries but something else with potatoes. We didn't mind but as compensation she got a very nice ice-cream. There is a little shop next to it with local wine and other local drinks. It only accepts cash, no plastic.
