Mix And Grille - Potomac

We were regular diners in Bezu, the upscale restaurant that had occupied this room. We mourn his closure and took time before we visited his replacement. In short, our quite wide one sample of the comfort food menu elicited universal approbation we liked it! We are happy to just write, that gives me the idea of Potomac for lunch today! The clientele is younger and a bit more sister than the Demur Gönner von Bezu, but the food makes the tradeoff worth the trip. Well, as I suggested above, I DID go well for lunch, Brunch actually is Sunday after everything. I was the only one in the restaurant from the time I sat down until I was gone. I went alone with my IPad and wanted to pick up the Sunday papers. It shouldn't be. Far from improving the atmosphere, the background music, both volume and selection, distracted from the experience. The music included attention rivets selection, many with singing that used to be a BIG restaurant not in the distant past. The loud music along with a half dozen or so large screen TV 's are annoying barrage of unwanted stimuli. Conversation would have been difficult, quiet reading impossible. But still, a restaurant even a bar and grill is over the food (and, I suppose, the drinks) and on this point, mix is still on the plus side.

This place is great! Great atmosphere, mixed quantity, no Pun intended and the bar offers make it worth it!!!
