La Cabana Mexican - Post Falls

Fantastic spot for Mexican food in Post Falls staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend their combination dinners or lunch specials.

I'm going to talk about my experience that happened when I went to eat at this place. Let's start with the spoiled fresh water, the food is all bad and what really bothers me a lot is because they have to separate the people, they have 2 dining rooms, one for white people and another for people of color and the truth is that I realized that almost when I finished eating otherwise I would never have spent my money in that piece of restaurant, a McDonald's would have been much better, please don't go to that place. For Americans, the food is very good because they don't know the good things about Mexican gastronomy: good salsa, good grilled meat, exquisite enchiladas. PS just don't come to this place if you want to eat good Mexican food

Amazing food wonderful service! Both the male waiter female Waitress are outstanding! Prices are very reasonable compared to most restaurants in our area

Well I got the wrong restaurant in my original review and I lost a bet, I 've been to La Cabana in the past but it 's been awhile since I have gone, Kerry (sp? was awesome!! Although, I clearly ordered my burrito with ground beef and enchilada sauce, which she kindly pointed out to me, as well as I wanted a watermelon ?Something mocktail but not a Margarita she suggested a combo of a Mojito and Margarita blended which was superb! When the food came I took a bite of what I thought was a burrito ? with everything and added enchilada sauce, I was thinking this doesn 't taste right so my friend tasted it and said, you ordered ground beef not shredded beef and I wasn 't going to stress but too late , He then called Kerry over and she started, nicely, saying no you ordered this but if you want it ground no problem and took my plate off to the kitchen which was to our immediate right and all I heard was Spanish (laughter and 2 minutes later she came out with my original order. I was already full from chips and salsa as well as the few bites I took of the wrong order, in saying so Kerry was very pleasant and upbeat but the food (even my friend said had taken a turn for the worse. Sorry La Cabana, you used to be my favorite, but I won 't give up just yet next time I 'll do dinner and order something I 've not ordered before. ?

Amazing service! Best I've had in any restaurant. Unfortunately food is kinda bland. Probably the worst Mexican food I've had. Hopefully this was just an off day. We had the burrito and the carne asada plate.
