Les plans sont tous excellents, C'est de la cuisine gastronomique faisant la part belle aux produits du terroir, mais cuisinée de façon originale. L'accueil tout en étant classe reste très sympathique, ils sont même venus nous chercher en voiture à positano. Et que dire de la vue fabuleuse si vous avez la chance de déjeuner en terrasse. Un sans faute.

We appreciated the free shuttle but the driver chatted with a lady in the car on the way up to the restaurant and completely ignored us. On arrival at the restaurant, the other couple and their dog were hastened along the pathway to the restaurant, leaving us behind. I cannot walk fast and we weren't sure where to go. On reaching the restaurant, we again felt ignored. It was a good 15 to 20 minutes before we were offered a drink and a further 15 minutes after that to get them. In the meantime, our travel companions had drinks and their first course. I am a dog person and have dogs but the attention given to this one was ridiculous. I had booked this restaurant on a recommendation and expected something special. The food was ok at best. I thought I'd experience a dining wow but absolutely not. The starter and main were very pretty but bland. The tiramisu dessert was tart. It tasted/seemed burnt. We then had another gallop back to the transfer vehicle, which made me very uncomfortable. The food, for me, was not at all special in taste although well presented. Can't argue with that. I think the experience was tarnished by the feeling we weren't trendy enough, too old. In fact, I felt really uncomfortable. We didn't get the amazing views as our hotel booked the table for 7 which was far too late to see the sunset. Not the restaurant's fault obviously but further upset the evening. Drinks were ridiculously over priced. We eat out at similar restaurants regularly but won't return here. Also, please ask your staff not to pet dogs at the table and then bring my food. When the bill is 175 euros for two I don't think that's unreasonable

We have been in Positano for almost 2 weeks. Dining out in all of the top rated restaurants. This was our last night here and definitely saved the best for last! Rifugio is, by far, the absolute best all round dining experience here! The shuttle was easy and comfortable as we made our way to the highest point in Nocelle (high above Positano). The most spectacular view. Like other reviews said... definitely get there for Sunset spectacular! The decor is incredible... every detail nothing spared and extremely tasteful. The food (even the bread) was amazing! We shared the Octopus Salad. I had the pasta with pork and truffles. My wife had the Lamb. All dishes were outstanding! We then had the banana and ice cream dessert... Awesome. The portions weren't huge but we were absolutely full. They then brought out a small dish of incredible pastries. Seriously... this is a Positano MUST go to resto! Everyone at the restaurant had the exact same sentiments.

5 stars First of all; Amazing view! Make sure to book in advance and get a table with a view. We had the tasting menu with wine paring everything was delicious as were the service.
