Russkiy Dvorik

This is the perfect place to fill your belly after a spiritual tour. The menu includes some Ukrainian and international foods but mostly a russian menu. I tried the dumplings and it was great. The pancakes were unique as it came with salmon. I didn't enjoy the salmon because I prefer it cooked. The beet and meat soup was delicious.You can also grab some souvenirs from the the shop inside the restaurant.

Tourist-aimed kind of restaurant (not surprised because of the location), they even tried to make us buy some souvenirs while we were eating. The dishes were simple and not too impressive. The decoration is great, old Russian style, the views are also good.

Recommended place but needs improvements in services. As it is located at a religious and touristic town of Sergiev Posad, it would be nice to have staff that are welcoming especially to foreigners. The manager or PIC should have an air of friendliness more and the waiters as well but instead they were looking like they hadn't seen foreigners before when the restaurant is equipped with Chinese translation and English menu. Mind you they sell souvenirs too so foreigners are expected. They looked a bit like deers in the headlights lol. Very amusing to see their faces and awkwardness when we just wanted to get some lunch. The seafood salad was fantastic, interior was Russian folklore to the max I LOVED THE TOILETS it was clean and aromatic. However the salmon main course is too salty. Please hire English speaking staff since you are aiming for tourists obviously. The interior up to the napkin is well thought of and homely and feels like we're entering a traditional Pushkin fairytale. Please seek more improvements so that customers like us will feel enticed to come back for more. Will come again expecting better experiences

Русский дворик In English means Courtyard. This is a luxurious hotel in the city of Sergiev. Located directly opposite The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra Complex. So after visiting the church complex from the exit gate, you walk to the lower right past the public toilet and then go down to meet the pedestrian underpass where there is a traditional market selling various Russian souvenirs. You come out across the street and see this building. The thing I want to share here is only about the restaurant. The shape of the restaurant is very unique, unlike most buildings in the city of Sergiev, this is more ethnic but I don't know which ethnic culture is used at the entrance. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a choice of several sitting rooms to choose from, especially if you want to have a group meal with a private group. The interior of the room is made exclusively and decorated with antiques so that it adds a beautiful and classic atmosphere. Drinks that vary from tea to wine are also available there and authentic Russian food to international food is also available. Please try caviar, one of the authentic foods you should try. Eating in this restaurant besides paying for food and drinks, we also pay for an atmosphere that makes our appetite increase. One more thing before going home, you can buy souvenirs at the corner of the souvenir.

This is so cute. Yes, this cafe has city prices; however definitely a must see. Friendly staff, and decent food, great variety!
