I visited a Wetherspoons that was conveniently located when I was craving a meal, but I was left feeling hungry due to the lack of chips on the plate. The halloumi wrap was tasty, but I felt unsatisfied with only 5 or 6 chips that accompanied it.

While visiting from the north and traveling over 300 miles, we were hungry and parked on the street. I ordered a large breakfast and Eggs Benedict, but we waited a long time for our food to arrive. My breakfast was okay but not hot, and the Eggs Benedict was a real disappointment. The poached eggs were hard-boiled instead of runny as they should be, ruining the dish. The pub was very busy with only one person serving, so my partner lost their appetite. When I brought up the issue with a staff member, they offered to make a new dish, but the moment was already ruined. I asked for a refund but never received one. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place.

Often come in here with friends for drinks and occasionally a quick bite to eat. The beer and food is always good. The staff are really great and very attentive. If it’s quiet they remember what you are drinking.
